What is Raja Yoga

Raja Yoga is the royal path to inner unity, yet for a modern human, practicing Raja Yoga and Hatha Yoga together creates a far deeper transformation.

Hatha Yoga works through the body, moving energy upward and preparing the ground for Raja Yoga.

When we bring awareness to our breath, body, thoughts, and emotions during Hatha Yoga, it is no longer just physical—it becomes a doorway to Raja Yoga.

This awareness brings a profound sense of inner peace, where body and mind merge into one, and a deep ease arises within.

In my trainings, we explore every aspect of yoga, going beyond the surface to transform not just the body but also the breath and mind.

This transformation is not just intellectual; it penetrates the unconscious, planting a seed that continues to grow in daily life.

Imagine a space where your entire being aligns—body, mind, and soul—where yoga is not just a practice but a way of being.

May your path be filled with light, ease, and the joy of true inner unity. Keep walking, keep growing - yoga is a journey that always leads home.

The goal of yoga and the method to attain it

Raja yoga is one of the four classical schools of yoga alongside Jnana (knowledge or self-study), Bhakti (devotion) and Karma (action), each offering a path to moksha (spiritual liberation) and self-realization.

In Sanskrit, raja means ‘king" or ‘royal," referring to the status of Raja yoga as a "royal path"’ or principal form of yoga.

Raja yoga is the yoga of mind and body control. It is the state of peace and contentment that arises from sustained yoga and meditation practice.
